Ukraine accuses Putin of breaking promise to Trump with airstrikes on infrastructure | BBC News
Following Vladimir Putin's announcement that he would no
longer target Ukrainian energy stations, Russia and Ukraine began attacking one
other's infrastructure by air. Russian strikes on hospitals were reported by
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who essentially rejected US President
Donald Trump's proposal for a full ceasefire. European allies have rejected
Putin's demand that Ukraine's allies stop providing military assistance in
exchange for a truce. A small fire was started at an oil facility in Krasnodar
by a Ukrainian drone. A Sumy hospital was struck in defiance of Putin's
promise, although no injuries were recorded. The Trump-Putin chat was presented
by Russian media as a Russian victory.
